Observation: Deli corner office station - 2 palletes on the floor used for inventory storage. Palletes restrict staff from deep cleaning in this location and provide a harborage for pests.
Corrective Action(s): Replace 2 floor palletes with shelving that provides 15 cm clearance from the floor to allow for ease of cleaning and discourage pest activity.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Mouse droppings observed on floor adjacent to mop sink station and in corner behind wheeled cart and palletes next to office station.
Corrective Action(s): All areas described are to be thoroughly cleaned to remove all build-up of food and debris from surfaces.

Areas affected by pest activity must be sanitized with dilute bleach solution (100 ppm chlorine 1 tsp bleach / 1 liter water) after cleaning OR Kay multipurpose disinfectant.
