Routine inspection conducted: Coolers at 4 degrees C or less* Freezers functional Bulk area well maintained. Scoops attached to bulk containers and pull down dispensers in place. Random selection of canned foods checked for damage--no concerns. It was stated that damaged cans are removed from store floor. Random selection of infant/baby formula and nutritional supplements were audited for expiry dates--all items checked were within expiry. First in first out stock rotation appears to be in place (based on random selection of items checked) Produce area hand wash station supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels Quaternary ammonium compounds (quats) sanitizer available at 200 ppm from dispenser and spray bottle in produce area. No signs of pest activity *Specialty/herb cooler lowest temperature measured at approximately 5 to 6 degrees C at time of inspection. Cooler may be in defrost cycle as this week's temperature logs indicate cooler was less than 4 degrees C. Monitor and adjust as necessary to maintain 4 degrees C or less.
