Corrective Action(s): Repair or replace light tubes to ensure adequate lighting is provided in food preparation and handling areas. Adequate lighting is required to assist with regular cleaning and food preparation.

Comments

No live cockroaches found at time of inspection, but a few dead ones were found. General sanitation appeared satisfactory. Observed that cockroach bait and sticky traps were placed throughout the kitchen and servery. Owner claims premise was serviced by a professional pest control company the day after the last complaint inspection. Owner did not have any pest control invoices or service reports onsite. Owner shall provide a copy of the latest pest control report for the premise for review by Fraser Health by April 6, 2018.

The sink beside the dishwasher is still leaking underneath, despite the owner stating repairs were made 2 days after the last complaint inspection. Leak appears to be originating around the area where the drain pipe connects to the underside of the sink. Owner shall repair the leaky sink by April 6, 2018.
