302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No surface sanitizer was prepared at time of inspection. During the preparation of the sanitizer solution, both bleach and quaternary ammonium compounds (quats) were mixed in a container. It was stated that bleach was added to whiten cloths. Solution was discarded and quats sanitizer was dispensed into containers at 200 ppm. Wiping cloths stored in sanitizer.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that approved sanitizer is available at all times at the correct concentration (e.g. quats at 200 ppm OR bleach solution at 100 to 200 ppm) for effective sanitizing. Note: Mixing of incompatible chemicals may reduce sanitizer effectiveness and/or potentially form toxic gas.

Observation: Ice scoop stored in ice machine. Ice scoop handle was observed to be in direct contact with ice. Scoop was removed at time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure that ice scoop is stored outside of ice machine to limit potential contamination of ice (e.g. in a clean, dry container)

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: 1. Paper towel dispenser at rear hand sink is not working. Paper towel roll stored outside of dispenser.
2. Water appears to be draining slowly at front hand sink.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure that paper towels are stored in functional paper towel dispensers. Paper towel roll may potentially become contaminated or misplaced if not stored in dispenser. Service or repair front hand washing sink to ensure that water is draining properly. Date to be corrected by: February 13, 2018.

- Glass beverage cooler at 3 degrees C
- Prep cooler at 5 degrees C (above) and 1 degree C (below).
- Drawers under flat grill at 3 to 4 degrees C
- Walk in freezer at -16 degrees C
- Hot holding internal temperatures at 60 degrees C or more
- Three sink plugs available at three compartment sink.
- Hand washing stations supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
- FOODSAFE requirements met at time of inspection
- Temperature records well maintained
- No evidence of pest activity noted
