Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A small amount of dried vegetable debris was observed on the vegetable chopper.
Corrective Action(s): Vegetable chopper was placed into dishwashing area to be washed, rinsed, and sanitized. Ensure that food contact surfaces are properly cleaned to remove food debris prior to rinsing and sanitizing. An appropriate brush or equivalent may help to facilitate the removal of physical food debris, particularly in hard-to-reach areas of equipment, prior to washing, rinsing, and sanitizing.

Garlic oil prepared on site was observed to be stored in cold holding units and not at ambient temperature. Garlic oil in insert located within preparation table was measured at an internal temperature of 4 degrees C or less. The following documents on garlic and oil food safety were provided: (1) Government of Canada: Food safety tips for vegetables and herbs in oil. (2) HealthLinkBC: Botulism.
Bar glass washer was measured at 12.5 to 25 ppm iodine (iodophor sanitizer).
