Observation: Handwash sink in the front does not have supply of hot water. The temperature of pre-mix running water at the faucet was recorded at 16C. Adequate handwash station is required to ensure staff can wash their hands properly and to reduce the likelihood of food contamination.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that all handwash sink are adequately supplied with hot and cold water, liquid soap and single use paper towels. For the pre-mixed warm water, it is recommend to set at a temperature of at least 38C through a mixing valve or combination faucet.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): During inspection, it was observed that the staff in the front service area did not wash their hands before putting on a new pair of clean gloves. Putting gloves on unclean hands may result in potential contamination of clean gloves with dirty hands which may cause food contamination during food handling.
Corrective Action(s): Always wash your hands properly prior to putting on a new pair of clean gloves.

Routine inspection conducted.

Temperature (coolers to be maintained at 4C or less, freezers at -18C or less, hot holding at 60C or above):
- Walk in cooler recorded at 2.2C
- Walk in freezer at -18C
- Front prep cooler at 4C
- Front undercounter cooler at 4C

Storage:
- All food items were stored at least 6" off the floor.
- All food products were found either in original packaging or covered inside coolers.
- Chemicals and cleaners were stored separate from food preparation areas.

Sanitation & Maintenance:
- General sanitation of the facility was satisfactory.
- Hand wash station was adequately stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.
- Sanitizer spray bottle available and the concentration of QUATS noted at 200ppm.
- Sanitizer dispenser releases 200 ppm QUATS at 3-compartment sink.
- All utensils and equipment maintained in good sanitary condition.
- No visible signs of pest activity observed at the time of inspection.

Administrative:
- Operating permit was posted in a conspicuous location.
- Manager has valid FoodSafe Level 1 certificate (Feb 23, 2025)
