Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Chemical dishwasher had no chlorine sanitizer. Sanitizer pail was empty.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure chemical dishwasher is able to provide 50ppm chlorine sanitizer on the dish surface to properly sanitize equipment, dishware and utensils. Sanitizer pail was replaced, dishwasher was primed and tested at 50ppm.

Observation: Flies were found in the bar area.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure facility is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition to prevent the attraction of flies. Clean and sanitize surfaces on a nightly basis. Contact professional pest control services if needed.

Observation: Rice was found accumulating under the rice bins.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure staff maintain the facility in a clean and sanitary condition on a nightly basis to prevent pest attraction.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 4C.
-Prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Front bar cooler was at 4C.
-Upright freezers were at -17C and -16C.
-Chest freezer was at -20C.
-Hot holding was greater than 60C.
-Foods were fried to greater than 74C.
-Cooked foods were rapidly cooled and were at 4C.
-Handwash stations accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels. Hand hygiene practices have improved.
-Bleach sanitizer pails were at 100ppm.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until August 5, 2023.
