Handwashing station (at the 2-compartment sink) was supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and single-use paper towels.
2-compartment sink was supplied with hot and cold running water. Two built in sink plugs were available.
200 ppm QUATS sanitizer was available in the labelled spray bottle and from the dispenser at the 2-compartment sink.
Walk-in-cooler and other coolers were at or below 4 degrees C and equipped with thermometers.
Note: One of the two thermometers in the meat display cooler was not in good working order and requires replacement or re-calibration.
It was reviewed that in-use equipment for raw meat (e.g. meat slicer, grinder etc.) should be disassembled, cleaned, sanitized, and air dried at least every 4 hours between use and after final use each day.
No signs of pest activity were evident at the time of inspection.
Pest control program was in place via Rentokil. Most recent service report dated March 7, 2023 was reviewed.
