Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Cold potentially hazardous food in 2-door under counter cooler measured 12 degrees C (internal food temperature).
Corrective Action(s): Potentially hazardous items that had been in cooler for greater than 2 hours discarded (e.g. sour cream, milk). Other items transferred to central prep cooler. Potentially hazardous foods must be maintained at 4 degrees C or less in order to limit the growth of potential pathogens / toxins.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Internal food temperatures of some potentially hazardous food items in hot holding case measured approximately 40 to 55 degrees C. It was stated that food items were in case for less than two hours.
Corrective Action(s): Food items reheated to an internal temperature of 74 degrees C or hotter. Hot holding unit temperature adjusted (increased). Ensure hot potentially hazardous food is stored at an internal food temperature of 60 degrees C or higher to limit the growth of potential pathogens / toxins.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Back prep area hand sink missing liquid soap.
Staff washroom hand sink missing paper towel.
Hand sink located near ice machine missing paper towel and liquid soap.
Corrective Action(s): Liquid soap and/or paper towels supplied for all above-noted hand washing stations. Ensure all hand washing stations are accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels at all times in order to facilitate proper hand washing.

Observation: Mouse droppings observed in one cabinet located near the coffee / tea station. What appeared to be chew holes observed in packaged product.
Corrective Action(s): Packaged food product discarded. Ensure all droppings are removed and affected areas are properly cleaned and disinfected today. Fraser Health bulletin on mice to be provided with additional information. Have premises serviced by a pest control technician and seal any potential pest entry points. Date to be corrected by: May 30, 2023.
