302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)] Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): One of two spray bottles containing quats sanitizer was measured at approx. 50 ppm quats. Corrective Action(s): Sanitizer bottle was emptied and refilled at the dispenser, tested at 200 ppm quats. Ensure that at all times, sanitizer is maintained at concentrations required for effective sanitizing of food contact surfaces. Violation Score: 5

Code 301 noted on Routine inspection # MBEK-CC3T6Q of Feb-28-2022 Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: Mildew / biofilm observed on interior surfaces of ice machine. In addtion, ice scoop was stored in a container with a damp paper towel lining the bottom; paper towel discoloured with what appeared to be mildew. Correction: 1. Ice scoop and container placed into dishwashing area to be washed and sanitized, paper towel discarded. 2. Discard ice. Ensure that all surfaces are properly washed, rinsed, and sanitized, then allowed to completely air dry. Date to be corrected by: Today.

Hand sink noted on previous report is accessible, hose is detached. Chemical spray bottles are labeled. Note: Some areas noted on previous report have been cleaned. Ensure remaining areas are properly cleaned to remove all debris / oil.
