Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice except for those noted on supplementary pages.

Observed Violations
PHYSICAL FACILITY, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS: 11010 - CCLR s.13(1) - A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.
Observation: At the time of this inspection, it was noted that items were stored on a narrow window ledge above the naproom area where a playpen and sleeping mat are located (book, car on a metal coiled stand). Concern is that should the items inadvertently fall there is potential for injury to occur.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure storage of items and/or heavier items on shelving that may have potential for injury to a child are relocated and/or secured to prevent falling - e.g. in the event of an earthquake..
