Introduction

An unscheduled follow up inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). Covid -19 prevention strategies are in place at the facility. There were no previous contraventions at the routine inspection that required addressing.

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Summary of Inspection At inspection there were 8 children and 2 staff present in the Group Child Care (under 36 months) program and 13 children and 3 staff present, including the Manager, in the Group Child Care (30 months to school age) program.. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. The following education/recommendations were provided through discussion: - Staff exemption plan for the Summer months - Staffing for break coverage and Covid-19 concerns - The requirement for masks if appropriate distancing can not be maintained between adults Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR). This report was reviewed with the Licensee/Manager before being written off site due to Covid-19 prevention strategies. A copy was provided to the Licensee by email. Thank you for your time today.
