Observation: Door next to the raw ingredient area was propped open. Gap noted under emergency exit door(next to loading bay door #6). Several loading bay doors not pushed down all the way leaving gaps underneath where pests may gain entry into the plant. Accumulation of spilled spent grain noted outside next to the silo.
Corrective Action(s): Keep doors close. Service the emergency door so that there is no gap underneath. Remove spilled grain promptly.

Comments

Bottle line not running today. A return visit will be made when it is operating. Please phone or email to advise when.
Some patches of the floor in the can filling area is excessively worn. Water is pooling on the broken surfaces. Repair flooring.
Excessive mold and mildew build up on the north wall of the plant (closest to the pasteurizer). Remove and clean.
Development of HACCP is in progress.
