Code 401 noted on Routine inspection # PKUR-CUJSDF of Aug-09-2023 Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)] Observation: Handwashing sink not equipped with hot water Correction: Adjust valve that controls hot water so that hot water is always available. Handwashing sink must be equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single-use towels at all times. Correct immediately. In the interim use another sink for handwashing. Code 401 noted on Follow-Up inspection # PKUR-CULSSM of Aug-11-2023 Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)] Observation: Hand washing sink still does not have hot water. Correction: Hot water is not reaching this section of the establishment. Hot water tank to be installed close to the hand sink. Discussed setting up all other sinks with liquid soap and paper towel dispensers. Use other sinks for hand washing until the main hand washing sink is repaired. Correct immediately.

Follow-up inspection Front hand washing sink has been repaired - fully functioning with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single-use towels. Line cooler at 4 C or below - good. Lid kept shut and not overly stocked. Pest control technician was on-site at the time of inspection and provided operator with recommendations on how to control flies.
