-Premises and equipment maintained in a sanitary condition.
-Handsinks in kitchen and staff washroom supplied with hot/cold water, liquid soap and paper towel
-Observed frequent handwashing by foodhandling staff
-Coolers were operating at acceptable temperatures (4C or colder)
-Walk-in cooler 1C
-Prep cooler 4C
-Undercounter cooler 3C
-Beverage cooler 4C
-Coolers supplied with thermometers to monitor temperatures.
-Lid of prep table cooler kept closed to maintain temperature when pizza assembly is not occurring.
-Food stored in a manner to prevent contamination; in food grade containers and covered with lids. Further to previous report, flour is now stored in a food grade container.
-Aprons hung in clean location. (Corrected from previous routine inspection)
-Quats sanitizer (200ppm) present in spray bottles at each station to sanitize food contact surfaces and in 3 compartment sink for dishes. Test strips present for checking sanitizer concentration.
-In use utensils (eg. pizza cutters) are replaced with clean ones every 4 hours. Staff on duty knowledgeable about this practice/timeframe.
-No signs of pest activity at the time of the inspection. Pest control contract in place (Poulin's Pest Control) with monthly service.
-Operator has completed Foodsafe level 1 (certificate valid until 26-June-2022)
