Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Side door to the kitchen was propped opened at the start of the follow-up inspection.
This is a repeated violation.
Note: Side door was also noted propped opened at the start of the last routine inspection. As per staff, they were receiving an order.
Corrective Action(s): Doors must be kept closed when not in active used (e.g. during deliveries), especially when there is a known pest issue at the facility.
If this violation is still noted during the next inspection, increase enforcement actions will be enforced.

Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: 1. Red/ pink buildup noted on the plastic drop plate in the interior of the main ice machine.
2. Cheese shavings and food debris noted on the top of the magnetic knife holder - unit noted at the end of the cook line.
Correction: Clean and sanitize the abovenoted equipment and maintain in a sanitary manner at all time as per your Sanitation Plan.

Follow-up inspection conducted for report# KLAI-CS5QYB
- Upright cooler has now been reorganized for better air flow. Food on the bottom shelf now noted at 4C.
- Suggest to reorganize the cooler so cold potentially hazardous food are stored on the top shelves and those that are not potentially hazardous (e.g. Teriyaki sauce) or unopened sauces that do not require refrigeration are stored closer to the bottom shelves.
- Interior of the ice machine and magnetic knife bar noted in a sanitary condition.
- Floor below the cutting board storage area and shelves by the dishwashing area are noted in a sanitary condition.
- Wall and ceiling by the upright cooler noted cleaned.
- Did not observe any sieve in poor condition during the inspection.

Outstanding violations that still require correction:
- Replace the missing/ broken paper towel dispenser noted along the cookline - to be evaluated during the next routine inspection.
- Remove the cracked ice scoop and replace with another dispenser for the meantime until the replacement scoop arrives.
