Comments

Inspection regarding re-opening after being closed for the last 2-3 years. Facility was not in-use at the time of inspection.

-Hand washing sink equipped with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and single-use towels.
-High temperature dishwasher reached a temperature of at least 71 C on the plate surface during the final rinse (note, the dishwasher takes time to heat up and may require 1-2 runs prior to reaching the adequate temperature).
-Labelled bleach bottles available for surface sanitizing and the chlorine registered > 200. Use only 1/2 tsp of unscented bleach per litre of water and make a fresh solution each time the kitchen is used.
-Cooler at 4 C or below.
-Freezer at -18 C or below. Ensure second freezer that is unplugged is fully functioning before putting it in use.

**Facility has been deep-cleaned however, there is still a build-up of dust behind the cooking equipment. Please ensure all areas are kept in a clean condition, free of old food, dust, and debris.**

Please reach out to your Environmental Health Officer to inquire about temporary food permits for any special events where food is prepared in this kitchen for the general public.
