Observation: 1) Under counter prep cooler door seal needs to be repaired or replaced.
2) Walk-in cooler thermometer was broken.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Repair/replace cooler door seal to ensure a good seal is formed to prevent the loss of cold refrigeration air.
2) Replace thermometer and ensure all cooler units are equipped with accurate thermometers to verify cold holding temperatures.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 4C.
-Walk-in freezer was at -15C.
-Sandwich cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Dairy dispenser was at 4C.
-Under counter cooler was at 4C.
-Counter top cooler was at 4C.
-Hot holding was greater than 60C.
-High temperature dishwasher had a final rinse temperature of 72C on the dish surface (minimum of 71C required for proper sanitizing).
-Handwash stations accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Quats sanitizer dispenser tested at 200ppm.
-Quats sanitizer pails labelled and changed every 2 hours. Sanitizer was at 200ppm.
-Vegetable slicer was found to be clean and sanitary.
-Ice Capp attachment sanitized after each use.
-Mixing spoon stored in ice.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Foods stored off the ground and protected from potential contamination.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-Facility is serviced by a professional pest control operator on a monthly basis. No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station supplied with liquid hand soap and single use paper towels.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 equivalent valid until September 26. 2026.
