206 - Hot potentially hazardous food stored/displayed below 60 °C. [s. 14(2)] Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed a pot of cooked black beans on an electric stove. Internal temperature measured at 27C. Staff mentioned it was held in room temperature for an hour. The bean was brought to boil at this time. Staff was directed to use this batch of black beans only for an hour and discard any leftover. Corrective Action(s): Violation Score: 5

Routine inspection conducted: Hand washing stations fully equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels. All coolers measured at 4C and less. Freezer measured at -18C. Hot holding measured at 60C and higher. Foods adequately covered and labelled. QUATS sanitizer measured at 200 ppm as per test strips. 3 compartment sink is equipped and in use. Food processor in sanitary condition. No sign of recent pest activity noted at this time. Signature was not collected due to COVID 19.
