Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted. All newly licensed facilities in Fraser Health receive one routine and one follow up-inspection to ensure they are maintaining compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated April 24, 2024 there were fifteen children and three staff present. Licensing conducted a walk-through of the entire facility. There were no contraventions identified during this inspection.
The following was discussed:
Storage of toys and equipment in a way that does not pose a risk to children in an event of an earthquake.
Staff access to on-line incident reporting portal

The inspection report was written on-site and details were reviewed with the ECE staff prior to writing the report. A copy of the follow up to routine inspection report and risk assessment is emailed to the manager.
