Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Wall mounted veggie dicer was not maintained in sanitary condition. Dried veggies and build up observed. Staff removed the veggie dicer off the wall for manual dishwashing.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure that all equipment/food contact surfaces are maintained in good sanitary condition to prevent the risk of food contamination.

Observation: Operating permit was not posted. Operator had posted Fraser Health decal at the front. If you have misplaced/lost the operating permit, please contact Fraser Health Billing department at 604-918-7507 to request a replacement permit.

Comments

Routine inspection conducted.

Findings:
- Temperature of front beverage cooler at 4C
- Hot holding unit for pizza slices at 64C
- Pizza prep cooler at 3C
- Chest freezer (x2) below -18C
- Walk in cooler at 4C
- Handwash sink available and had adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels.
- 2 compartment dishwashing sink available. Drain plugs and bleach bottle onsite.
- 200ppm chlorine concentration recorded in sanitizer spray bottle.
- Food storage practices were satisfactory.
- Facility was maintained in excellent sanitary condition.
- No signs of pest activity observed.
- Staff has valid FOODSAFE Level 1 equivalent (Exp May 2028).

Overall, well maintained facility.

Recommendation:
Chest freezer near the pizza cutting station has been wearing out. Lid cover is loose. Please consider servicing it or replacing it with a new one in near future.
