Observation: Handsink in kitchen area is not working. Faucet needs to be repaired.
Corrective Action(s): This must be repaired/fixed immedately. Handsink must be equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.

209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation: 1. Open bags of flour/dry food ingredients found in dry storage area. All food must be stored in food grad containers with lids at all times to protect from contamination
2. Deep freezer needs to be cleaned and reorganized.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Reorganize and tranfer all food ingredients into food grad containers. All containers should have lids.
Also, all containers with food ingredients must be labelled properly.
2. Clean and reorganize deep freezer. Also, clean the outside of the freezer as it has many curry stains.

Observation: Sanitizer buckets must be labelled at all times.
Corrective Action(s): Label all sanitizer buckets. Also make sure that there is one sanitizer bucket in each prep area including sanitizer for the front dining area.

315 - Refrigeration units and hot holding equipment lack accurate thermometers [s. 19(2)]
Observation: Thermometers were missing in coolers. Walkin cooler thermometers not accurate and must be replaced.
Corrective Action(s): Replace all thermometers.

Comments

Routine inspection.
Handwashing stations are equipped with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels (Except see above noted violation).
Coolers are 4c or below.
Freezers are at -18c or below.
Note: New freezer has been installed in front customer area.
Dishwasher reached 50ppm concentration for sanitize cycle.
Bleach water sanitizer is available in sanitizer buckets.
Foods are located off the floor throughout facility.
Ventilation hood has been serviced and is in sanitary condition.
No pest activity noted during time of inspection.
Pest control is completed by landlord.
Employees onsite are wearing aprons and proper protective wear.
Employees onsite have foodsafe certification.

The following requires operators attention:
1. See above noted violations.
2. All utensils in dining area must be wrapped or only set when customers are at tables. This will prevent contamination.
3. Pest control report to be provided to EHO during followup inspection.
All violations are to be corrected immediately.
