Observation: Ice scoop was being stored in a dirty container. Some of the utensils were stored in water.
Corrective Action(s): Always wash the container used for storing the ice scoop. DO NOT store utensils in water! Always use ice or just a clean, empty container.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: General sanitation is poor.
Corrective Action(s): There's collapsed boxes, etc being stored between the dishwasher and oven. There are containers that have fallen off the rack beside the kitchen cooler that are lying on the floor. The coffee grinds are all over the floor under the counter beside the "Everest" cooler. There's an accumulation of dust/food items on shelves under the cash register. Staff must do a better cleaning job. It's obvious that items are not moved out and the shelving/flooring cleaned.

Observation: Do not use books to prop up the ice machine!
Corrective Action(s): Get proper blocks to prop it up as discussed.

Observation: 1) M3 Turbo air prep cooler temperature at the bottom is 8 degC (top refrigerated insert section is at 6 degC)

2) The pipe under the sink that's by the ice machine is leaking.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Discarded 2 wraps that had meat in them. Do not store PHF's in this cooler until it's fixed. Cooler must maintain foods at 4 degC or below.

2) Fix the leak properly.
