Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Scoops were stored inside dry ingredient containers with the handle in contact with the ingredients.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure scoops are stored in sanitary manner to prevent potential contamination of foods. Scoops were relocated at the time of inspection.

Observation: Cardboard was found lining the shelving units used to store fried items.
Corrective Action(s): Discontinue the use of cardboard to line shelving units to prevent potential contamination foods (cardboard may not be clean). Only use materials which can be cleaned and sanitized after each use or single use materials which are clean.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 3C.
-Upright freezer was at -12C.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in 2-compartment sink. Bleach and sink plugs available.
-Handwash station accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Bleach sanitizer pail labelled and tested at 200ppm.
-General sanitation satisfactory at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until December 19, 2022.
