HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: Moderate (16-29) Total Score = 22
Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Front handsink immediately behind the cash register is lacking liquid soap.

**This is a REPEAT violation noted from last routine inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Pump-style liquid soap was provided at time of inspection. This is your dedicated handwashing station that must be fully supplied at all times, this includes providing hot+cold water, liquid soap and paper towels.

Continued non-compliance may result in further progressive enforcement.
Violation Score: 15

Non-Critical Hazards: Total Number: 3
209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Lid storage racks are placed directly next to both handsinks in the front service area such that waste water from handwashing could potentially contaminate the lids.
Corrective Action(s): Relocate the storage racks or install splash guard. Lids are a food contact surface that must be protected from contamination.
Violation Score: 3

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Cleaning is required in the following areas:
> Food debris surrounding the floor around sandwich prep cooler.
> Discarded glove noted behind the trashbin underneath handsink by coffee.
> Debris and dust underneath shelving units in storage unit at the back.
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize above mentioned areas as per your sanitation plan. Removing food debris and maintaining a high level of sanitation will help to prevent the presense of pests such as rodents and flies.

Date to be corrected by: September 6, 2022.
Violation Score: 3

502 - In operator’s absence, no staff on duty has FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent [s. 10(2)]
Observation: Both staff members on site at time of inspection did not have FOODSAFE or equivalent training.
Corrective Action(s): Shifts must be rescheduled so that there is always 1 staff member with food safety training on site at all times. Ideally, encourage all staff members to enroll in a food safety course equivalent to FOODSAFE level 1.

Date to be corrected by: 1 month.
Violation Score: 1
