Observation: Mouse droppings observed in Aisle 1, 2 & 3.
Corrective Action(s): Remove the mouse droppings and disinfect the area with 1 part bleach to 9 part water solution. Use proper PPE duirng cleaning. Discuss the issue with your Pest Control Company to implement control measures.

Observation: Rice spill observed under Aisle 1 shelving (Jasmine rice) that could attract rodents.
Corrective Action(s): Clean the food debris and ensure that the facility is maintained in good sanitary condition to prevent the pest issues.

Observation: Water pooling in the produce walk-in cooler and along the wall near entrance to back storage area (near Fraserview Meats).
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that the water spill is cleaned and facility is maintained in good sanitary condition.

Comments

Routine inspection conducted at the food store and the following observations were made:

- Temperature of all coolers were maintained at 4C or less.
- Temperature of freezers noted at -18C or less.
- Food products were stored 6 inches off the floor.
- General sanitation of the facility was satisfactory.
- 3 x handwash stations available in the back area and had adequate supply of cold and hot running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels.
- 200ppm QUATS solution available in spray bottle.
- 3 compartment sink has QUATS dispenser. The concentration of QUATS was measured at 200ppm.
- As per staff, new door sweeps were installed.
