Code 401 noted on Routine inspection # LQUN-CF9T3G of Jun-10-2022 Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)] Observation: The two hand sinks in the sushi making area have no running water that exits the faucets. Staff are unable to wash their hands correctly, this will allow pathogens to be transmitted via staff hands. Correction: Immediately call a plumber to determine and fix the two hand sink faucets, so that hot water exits the faucets. **Correction date: June 17/22**

Comments

A follow-up inspection was completed, the following observations were made: - Both hand sinks in the sushi making area have running hot and cold water, liquid soap, and paper towels. - All plastic, protective coating have been removed from the exterior of equipment. - The wall adjacent from the deep fryers have been repaired and it is now durable, smooth, sealed and cleanable. FRP has been installed and sealed to the wall. - The wall behind the dishwasher has been cleaned and FRP has been installed on it. The wall is now smooth, durable, sealed, and cleanable. - The exhaust filters and canopy is clean and no accumulation of grease and dust found. - The wall and floor around, beneath and behind the deep fryers and cook stations are clean. No accumulation of grease found. - The exterior surfaces of the deep fryers and cook station equipment (flat grill, gas range, etc.) are clean. No accumulation of grease found. - All violations have been corrected and all in order. Great job.
