Observation: Partial wall and wooden shelving installed near walk-in cooler without prior written health approval.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure an up-to-date floor plan is submitted for the above-noted changes.
Ensure shelving is finished with a finish that it is smooth, non-absorbent, easy to clean, and suitable for the intended purpose. Date to be corrected by: October 25, 2023.

Going forward, contact the district Environmental Health Officer prior to making changes to equipment, layout, and/or operations as health approval may be required prior to making changes.

Observation: Walk in cooler at 10 degrees C. No potentially hazardous food storage.
Walk in cooler light not functional.
Corrective Action(s): Have walk-in cooler serviced and ensure it is capable of maintaining food at 4 degrees C or less in order to limit the growth of potential pathogens (for potentially hazardous food). Ensure light is functional and level of lighting is adequate.
Continue to ensure potentially hazardous food is not stored in the walk in cooler until it meets the aforementioned requirement and is re-inspected by the district Environmental Health Officer.

Preparation cooler (2-door) at 4 degrees C below and 3 degrees C above. Thermometer in place.
Chest freezer at -19 degrees C.
No hot holding at time of inspection.
Hand sinks are accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels.
Ware washing sinks are adequately supplied (hot and cold running water available).
Bleach available on site. 100 ppm chlorine bleach water sanitizer prepared. Chlorine test strips on site.
No signs of pest activity observed at time of inspection.
Note: Minimal food on site at time of inspection.
One preparation cooler (3-door) is turned off and is not being used for food storage.
