Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 17 cartons of eggs stored inside malfunctioning cooler at 23C since this morning (over 2 hours ago).
Corrective Action(s): Eggs were discarded at time of inspection in front of the inspector. It is vital that cooler temperature are checked to ensure that they are at a temperature of 4C or lower before placing eggs inside.

Comments

Routine inspection conducted. The following observations were made:

- Handwash stations stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use paper towels
- Facility generally in good sanitary condition
- Chest freezers and stand-up freezers at -18C
- Display coolers at 4C or less (except for cooler housing eggs)
- Hot chocolate machine in sanitary condition, not in-use at time of inspection
- Single-use disposable cups and trays are neatly stacked and organized
- Shelving for store products is organized, no expired products observed at time of inspection
- No signs of recent pest activity at time of inspection

A follow-up inspection will be conducted to verify that all coolers maintain 4C or less.
