Code 205 noted on Routine inspection # ANAN-CTURZA of Jul-18-2023
Cold potentially hazardous food stored/displayed above 4 °C. [s. 14(2)]
Observation: 1) Foods noted in pails and plastic bags in a igloo type cooler inside the restaurant. Temperature of the foods were around 30-40 degC.

2) Vegetables in solution inside the prep cooler were at 13 degC. Pans were double stacked under the cover.
Correction: 1) Foods were discarded.

2) Vegetables were discarded. Do not double stack pans because this will prevent air circulation and keep foods above 4 degC. Always store foods in inserts directly inside the cooler, not in a pan.

Code 401 noted on Routine inspection # ANAN-CTURZA of Jul-18-2023
Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation: Soap dispenser at the sink was empty. Paper towel dispenser was empty.
Correction: Refill the soap and paper towel dispenser at the 2-compartment sink.
Comments

On Follow-Up:
Operator is no longer using the double door display cooler to store PHF's. He says that it's too expensive to repair and he may replace it instead. There are a few other functional coolers for use.
The 2-compartment sink is fully equipped.
Clean issues have been addressed.

Outstanding Issue:
Operator requires Foodsafe Level 1 or equivalent certification by Sept. 30, 2023.
