Comments

Follow up inspection:
-Hole in the wall, located near the entrance door leading into the food service establishment, had been sealed. Manager informed it had a mesh screen behind the taped portion.
-Under-the-counter coolers had been removed from the front service area, and were not in use.
-Manager informed they have been storing potentially hazardous food (e.g. condiments for nachos and wieners) in the refrigeration units in the back area rather than in the front service area as an interim measure.
-Manager informed that two new under-the-counter coolers are currently on order and expected to arrive by next week.
-Ensure that the new replacement refrigeration units are a commercial type, equipped with accurate thermometers for appropriate temperature monitoring, and are maintained at or below 4 degrees C (40 degrees F) prior to stocking them with potentially hazardous food. Once these replacement refrigeration units are installed in the front service area, contact the Environmental Health Officer for a follow up inspection.
