Observation: Rodent dropping noted in several areas including inside walk in cooler and behind mobile carts, under shelving along the production and storage area.

Observation: Weather striping seal under walk in coolers door are worn out and there are some gaps that let rodents in.

Comments

Routine inspection with Store manager, facility has rodent issues and have pest control service in place
-Refrigeration units were less than 4 C
- Temperatures checked / recorded twice daily
- Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in 3 - compartment sink
- Handwash station supplied with liquid hand soap and single use paper towels
- Quats sanitizer tested to 200 ppm
-General sanitation good

Discussed:

-Ensure to store any opened bags of dry goods in sealed bins to protect from any contamination and rodent
- Ensure to Include sanitizing of all worktables and counters before any food handling upon opening. Facility to be fully cleaned and sanitized at the end of day and protect all foods by storing them in rodent proof containers.
