Routine inspection: -No food is being processed on-site. Only a food store. -Walk in cooler: 2 C -Coolers: <= 4 C -Freezers: <= -18 C - 3 comp sink available with bleach -Hand sink supplied with hot & cold water, liquid soap and paper towel. -No signs of pest activity noted ***Screen doors on both entrance are propped open. Screens are used to prevent pest entry. ***Noted large water dish in back counter area in front of 3 comp sink. Long black/dark dog hair on floor. - concerns about German Shepherd dog behind the counter. Dog noted tied up outside during inspection. Ensure no pets/animals are allowed inside store and especially the back counter area at anytime. If an animal is found to be or have been in the store further enforcement action may be taken as noted in the past routine inspection. -Discussed with owner how to come into compliance with proposed new services: serving hot soup, hot dogs, pizza, etc. -Reviewed requirements: updated floor plans, FSP & SP, FOODSAFE certificate, City approvals (plumbing, building). Business card provided. Contact EHO when a operator is ready to get approval for new services. No new services are allowed until approval is given.
