Observation: Drink dispenser gun holder at the bar requires cleaning. Accumulation of sugar residue observed inside.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure to clean this area on a more regular basis to prevent attracting flies in the area.

Observation: Ice scoop placed directly above the ice machine.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure the ice scoop is stored in a sanitized bucket and never directly above the machine.

Observation: Numerous number of flies observed on wall above the dishwasher. Picture taken.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure to contact a professional pest control company and have the area inspected.

Observation: Cooler drawers under grill require repair.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure these drawers are repaired. This issue has been discussed during previous inspections, but operator was still waiting for a quote at that time. The unit must be repaired/replaced so that the drawers can be closed properly EVERY TIME- otherwise the temperature of food inside cannot be maintained. As per progressive enforcement, failure to comply will result in issuance of Violation Ticket(s). [CORRECT BY: within the next 3 months]

Routine inspection conducted:

-Handwash stations adequately supplied.
-Refrigeration temperatures within requirement; Hot-holding temperatures within requirement.
-Low temperature dishwasher achieved >50ppm chlorine at plate level after final rinse.
-200ppm QUAT available in buckets throughout.
-No evidence of rodent activity observed.
-General sanitation satisfactory, but could be improved by cleaning hard to reach areas on a more regular basis.
-General food storage practice satisfactory. Back storage room satisfactory.
-Washroom handsinks satisfactory. One of the two paper towel dispensers in women's washroom needs to be replenished.

Correction Order issued on July 4th, 2017 rescinded at this time. Food items stored in the main prep cooler had internal temperature at or below 4'C. Ensure to continue to monitor the temperature of this unit. Record the values on a daily basis. If the unit cannot be operating at the required temperature of 4'C or below, in any future inspections, Violation Ticket(s) will be issued and Compliance Meeting with Health Protection Manager will be arranged.

As mentioned above, the cooler drawers under grill MUST be repaired/replaced. Main prep cooler in kitchen MUST be replaced for any repeated temperature issues.
