Code 401 noted on Routine inspection # JSAS-D29UUV of Feb-08-2024 Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)] Observation: Handsink adjacent to walk-in cooler - no cold water supply Handsink across from dishwasher - hot water faucet turned off. Correction: Hand-washing stations must be equipped with a stocked liquid soap dispenser, warm water and single use hand drying towels from a dispenser. Supervisor restored hot water to handsink across from dishwasher. Repair cold water faucet for back handsink. Ensure a garbage can is available at back handsink to allow staff to dispose of used papertowels.

Back kitchen soup station: soups 77 C, 82 C, 84 C Ensure soups are maintained above 60 C after being reheated to 74 C. Back kitchen: Both handsinks have new faucets installed with both hot and cold running water to allow for convenient and frequent handwashing by staff. Waste bin located within close proximity to back handsink. Premise cleaning conducted. Ensure cleaning is conducted daily to maintain premise sanitation and discourage potential pest activity. New Iodine test kit provided (exp. March 2025) to allow for daily testing of glass washer. 12.5 - 25 ppm Iodine is needed to effectively sanitize glassware.
