A follow-up inspection was completed:
- No food processing in the premises has occurred since the routine inspection.
- Discussion with owner occurred to review the history of the premises from the beginning of the health application process to the current situation. The owner admitted his wrong doing.
- Discussion with owner occurred to determine requirements to meet, to change the premises to a food processing facility.
- Owner has decided not to go forward with a proposal to change the premises to a food processing facility. The premises will remain as a food store, storing perishable food items, dry goods, take-out containers, and other items for processing foods in unit #36.
- The owner stated that no food processing will occur in the premises, and it will only be used as food storage and staff lunch room.
****It was agreed that the owner will IMMEDIATELY relocate the upright coolers and freezers, found in an adjacent room, to the main food storage area. And, the owner will relocate all food processing equipment, cookware, and utensils into the adjacent room for storage. Failure to do so, will result in the issuance of tickets and fines.*** |
