-Follow-up inspection to May 20, 2020.
-Bulk food area has been covered with plastic sheeting to prevent self-service of bulk foods. Ensure the bulk foods by the cash register are covered or are staff service only
-Facility has been serviced by a professional pest controller twice since the last inspection. Staff member stated the pest control operator trapped and removed rodents from the facility yesterday.
-Did not find any food items with rip marks at the time of inspection.
-Majority of droppings have been cleaned. There are still areas where rodent droppings have not been cleaned. Clean all droppings and sanitize all affected areas. Continue to monitor for pest activity.
-Staff member was unable to recall name of the pest control operator and stated the pest control operator will service the facility weekly. Staff member stated additional tin cats and monitoring boards were added to the facility.
-To prevent further infestation, ensure the following strategies are carried out: maintain the facility in a clean and sanitary condition, seal any potential entry points into the facility, store foods in pest proof containers, stored foods off the ground and covered, remove garbage from the facility on a regular basis, and follow any recommendations from your pest control operator.
