304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)] Observation: Facility was found to have a rodent infestation. Rodents were found in glue board monitoring stations. Continue to use pest control services and implement measures to prevent further infestation. Corrective Action(s): To control pest infestation, use the following strategies: determine and seal all potential entry points, maintain the facility in a clean and sanitary condition, store foods off the ground and in pest proof containers, remove organic waste and garbage from the facility on a regular basis, control vegetation at entry points. Violation Score: 9 306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: Rodent droppings were found throughout the facility (back storage and customer area). Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize all areas affected by rodent droppings using a 1:10 bleach solution. Continue to monitor for activity and contact pest control services as needed.
