Contraventions
Previous Inspection -
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice except for those noted on supplementary pages.

Observed Violations
PHYSICAL FACILITY, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS: 11200 - CCLR s.17 - A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child.
Observation: Licensing observed the following outside in the play area of the facility:
- A plank of wood was leaning up on a tree which could potentially fall on children. During the follow-up inspection, the manager moved the plank of wood and is no longer a hazard.
- A metal arch was on the ground in the middle of the play area which could be a tripping hazard for children. During the follow-up inspection, The manager said that this was meant to be put up a few days ago, but was delayed.

The items listed above are repeat contraventions from inspection report number MZIN-CCTL7M.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure children do not have access to any objects that may be hazardous to their safety. Evidence and a written response is required from the facility.
Date to be Corrected: Apr. 7, 2022

Comments

During the follow-up inspection, Licensing determined that the contraventions identified in routine inspection report #MZIN-CCTL7M have not all been successfully addressed by the facility. Most of the contraventions identified in the routine inspection on Mar. 23, 2022 were addressed. However, a written response is still required from the manager to address the contravention still pending and provide a time line and evidence that it has been fixed.

A COVID-19 Risk Screening was also completed.

Today, there were 2 children, and the manager was present.

Licensing would like to thank the facility for assisting with today's follow-up inspection.
