Routine inspection General sanitation is overall satisfactory. No obvious sign of pest activity observed at this date. Pest management services provided by Orkin services on a weekly basis. Rodent traps along the main wall, silos and organic garbage compactor was noted. Master sanitation plan noted. Food safety and sanitation plan discussed with QA personnel. Frequent swabbing being conducted for Salmonella, Listeria, Enterobacteriacea and ACC. Swabbing records noted. Testing is done through third party lab. Hair, beard control implemented. Hand washing stations are provided with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.Production line employees observed to be in good personal hygiene and utilizing hair and beard control net. All employees must wash their hands just before entering the facility. Note: One hand sink out of three is out of order. QA person stated that repair for hand sink scheduled for this week. Please ensure all hand washing stations are functional. Shipping ports found to be clean and well maintained. Packaging stations are well maintained. Metal detectors observed. Sink and surface sanitizer provided by Ecolab utilized throughout the facility. Testing strips available.
