Comments

A routine inspection was completed:
- Coolers 4C; freezer -18C; hot holding of fried onions above 60C; and thermometers present.
- Whole onions are cut on-site, stored in Ziploc bags, and then fried when needed.
- FoodSafe certified staff present.
- All foods stored in closed, covered containers and stored 6" off the floor on pallets or shelves.
- Coolers with ice store canned pop.
- Quats sanitizer in spray bottle had strength of 200ppm (good).
- Staff wear gloves to prepare and serve foods.
- Bleach sanitizer present for warewashing at 2-comp sink, in the staff lunchroom.
- General sanitation level is good.
- No signs of pests.
- No expired foods in use or for sale. FIFO rules being followed.

ACTION:
A temporary handwashing sink shall be set-up at events, as the washroom inside the store may be in use when foodhandlers need it, and it is not close enough proximity to encourage foodhandlers to wash their hands.
Purchase a camping water jug that has a spigot that turns on and off. Place a bucket under the water jug to catch the dirty, soapy water. Put liquid soap, and paper towels beside the water jug so foodhandlers can properly wash their hands.
