Observation: The currently existing floor plan does not reflect the floor plan layout that was initially approved for this food service establishment. The Owner/Operator had submitted three hardcopies of the current layout with changes made without health approval to both Fraser Health. The plan was rejected from Fraser Health and the required revisions for health approval were discussed with the Owner/Operator. A copy of the rejected floor plan was provided to the Owner/Operator.
Corrective Action(s): Submit three hardcopies of the revised floor plan to the district Environmental Health Officer of Fraser Health that include though are not limited to the location of the designated handsink that is required in the back kitchen area (that is separate from the 2-compartment sink). Ensure a designated handwashing sink is installed in the back kitchen area separate from the 2-compartment sink once the floor plan is approved from the district Environmental Health Officer of Fraser Health and any other government agency with jurisdiction (e.g. City of Surrey); Correct by June 29, 2018. In the meanwhile, leave one compartment of the 2-compartment sink empty and use it for handwashing purposes.

Equipment/facilities/hot & cold water for sanitary maintenance not adequate [s. 17(3); s. 4(1)(f)] (Dishwasher final rinse chlorine sanitizer was measured at 0 ppm at the plate. Sanitizer was less than half way full in the bucket and 0 ppm chlorine sanitizer was measured even after the Operator primed the dishwasher. )

Follow up inspection:
Dishwasher final rinse chlorine residual was at least 50 ppm at the plate.
Technician had sealed the top of the chlorine stock bottle to prevent chlorine loss according to the Operator.
Please maintain a daily record of the dishwasher final rinse chlorine sanitizer residual as a minimum.
Floor was cleaned near the back door.
Cardboard was removed from the shelving unit next to the deep fryer and washable shelf liner was available at the top of the shelving unit.
