304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation:
1) Dead mouse in trap observed behind large oven in production area
2) Droppings observed throughout the facility, limited to the sides and corners.
Corrective Action(s):
1) Remove dead mouse and dispose of in a sanitary manner
2) Clean droppings as soon as they are found. Use a mixture of 1 part water in 10 parts bleach to ensure that the areas are sanitized.

Ensure that:
- Any entrances to the facility are sealed against pest entry
- Recommendations from pest technician are followed
- Foods are stored in pest proof containers to prevent contamination

Note: Latest pest control report (February 7, 2019) noted that 12 mice were found in traps in the interior of the facility and another 11 found in the premises adjacent. Technician has noted that there are gaps near loading bay doors. Technician inspects facility every two weeks. Visits may need to be more frequent if pest levels are not reduced.

- Walk-in freezer -6C (appears to be in a deep defrost cycle; ensure that walk-in freezer is able to reach -18C; temperature records state that freezer is regularly at -18C to -20C)
