Comments

The opening inspection is conducted after a cosmetic renovation as per the operator/owner statement. The premise found to be open without the health inspection. Front hand-washing sink near the prep. pizza cooler supplied with liquid soap and paper towel in the wall-mounted dispensers as well as with hot/cold running water. Walk in cooler at 3.2 deg C. Front prep. pizza cooler at 2.1 deg C. Freezers at -18 deg C. Note: Front under-counter small cooler is turned off at the time of inspection./Not in use/no food/. 3 compartment sink- satisfactory (pins available/hot/cold running water - available). Wall-mounted dispenser for sanitizer - satisfactory. Surface sanitizer - Quats (spray bottle) at 200 ppm. Test strips - available at the time of inspection. General sanitation - satisfactory. Staff -washroom - satisfactory. No signs of pests during inspection. Note: Paper towel and soap provided at the 3-compartment sink/nearby shelf - this is temporary solution only. Outstanding items: - Wall-mounted dispensers for liquid soap and paper towels must be installed near the 3-compartment sink. - Floor in the walk-in cooler must be finished (partially not covered). Recommendation: - Highly recommended to contact to the City of Surrey for an installation of the dishwasher (in 2023). Facility is given Health Approval to operate. Note: this approval does not exempt you from receiving approvals from other agencies.
