Introduction

A scheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP).
The following areas were reviewed for compliance:
-Physical facility
-Health and hygiene

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Summary of Inspection
At the inspection dated May 6, 2020 there were 2 children, 1 staff, and 2 people living in the home present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. No further action required by the Licensee or the Licensing Officer. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. This inspection and the risk assessment were written off site and a copy was provided to the facility.
The following education/recommendations were provided:
· Increased sanitization procedures
· Facility cleaning supplies and products
· COVID-19 prevention strategies were reviewed and discussed.
