Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION):
Employee was asked procedure for washing and sanitizing scoops for bulk food items. Employee notified that bleach is not used to sanitize scoops.
Corrective Action(s):
Ensure that scoops are properly washed and sanitized in the 3-compartment sink:
1. Wash
2. Rinse
3. Sanitize with 100 ppm bleach solution (1oz bleach per gallon water).
4. Air dry

Re-wash and sanitize all scoops immediately.

Observation:
Water at handwashing station in spice/dry product repackaging room turned off.
Corrective Action(s):
Turn on water for handwashing station. Ensure that handwashing station is fully equipped with soap, paper towels and hot/cold running water. This area has a dedicated handsink that must be used. To be corrected today.

- Canned pickles are opened for bulk sale. Labels provided for each container.
- Dry storage area organized.
- No indication of pest activity at the time of inspection.
