Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Meat slicer was found to have meat on the backside of the blade. A phone was stored on the slicer.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure meat slicer is properly cleaned and sanitized after each use to prevent potential cross contamination of foods. Discontinue the practice of storing phones on equipment and food contact surfaces. Slicer was cleaned and sanitized at the time of inspection.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Unknown chemical was stored in an unlabelled bottle.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all chemicals are properly labelled to prevent accidental mixing and/or misuse of chemicals. Containers will need to be relabelled as needed. Container was discarded at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 4C.
-3-door prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Single door prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Both upright freezers were at -16C.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 2-compartment sink. Sink plug present.
-Handwash station supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Quats sanitizer pail was tested at 200ppm.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Foods stored off the floor and covered.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until June 04, 2024.
-Health Permit hand delivered. Ensure permit is posted in a visible location.
