Services being provided at the Village Skin & Body Clinic are:
- Non-registered massage ("Bowentherapy").
- Esthetics (facials; skin care). No lancets or needles used. No critical items.
Notify Fraser Health prior to offering any other services. Services that are restricted under the Health Professions Act cannot be provided.
Provide an updated Infection Control Plan to Fraser Health that identifies all equipment, implements, and surfaces and how they are cleaned and disinfected (non-critical items/low level disinfection).
Include facial equipment in your written infection control plan.
Room must be cleaned and disinfected prior to each use for PSE services.
Room has washable (non-absorbent) floor and a hand washing sink with hot/cold water, liquid soap, and single use hand towels.
Facials - using creams (no lancets or microneedling).
Alcohol for skin - follow directions on label.
Cavicide (disinfectant) has a DIN number and is in a spray bottle. Check expiry dates before purchasing and use as per directions on the label.
Most items are single use/disposable (cotton swabs etc.).
Laundry - use hot dry.
