Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Meat slicer was nnot cleaned after use and it was covered and stored away
Corrective Action(s): - Clean and sanitize meat slicer after every use and before storing it away

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Handsink in the bar area has no paper towel at the time of inspection
Corrective Action(s): - Paper towel was replaced immediately

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Improper glove use observed in dishwashing area. Reusable rubber gloves were used and employee handled dirty and clean dishes without proper handwashing
Corrective Action(s): - Use single use gloves only. Reusable rubber gloves are to be used for cleaning purposes only
- Glove use can't replace handwashing, so hands must be washed before wearing new pair.
Hands must be washed after touching dirty dishes and before handling clean dishes

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): - One opened box of sunflower seeds was observed in dry storage area and pest droppings were found behind the box
Corrective Action(s): - Discarded the contents of the box
- Once opened, store all bulk food items in pest proof containers

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Pest droppings observed in prep area bottom shelves for bulk bins storage and in dry storage area on shelving storage units
- Few flies observed in area near ice machine
Corrective Action(s): - Remove droppings and clean and sanitize the area with 200ppm quats sanitizer and allow the area to air dry
- Monitor the area for recent pest activity
- Seal off any cracks and crevices and any areas where wiring or pipes enter the building
Pest control measures are in place but more measures - mechanical and sticky traps and monitoring- are needed

Corrective Action(s): - Clean and maintain sanitary conditions in the food premises. Ensure that all areas that are found to have pest activity are sanitized with 200ppm quats sanitizer

- All handsinks in kitchen area and in washrooms are supplied with hot and cold running water, soap and paper towel
- All coolers - walk-incooler, upright storage coolers, three prep cooler, undercounter coolers at front area and bar coolers at 4C or less.
- Freezers- walk in and ice cream- are functional
- Hot holding internal temperatures at greater than 60C
- Sanitizer available in spray bottles and buckets at 200 ppm quats.
- High temperature dishwasher measured 77C at utensil surface during final rinse
- Bar glasswasher at 12.5 ppm iodine in rinse residual
- Hand washing stations supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels
- Ice machine in sanitary condition. Scoop stored safely in clean container.
