Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Frozen drinks machines were not being sanitized after washing. Staff have been cleaning the machines with dish soap and water only.
Corrective Action(s): Bleach available on site - ensure a sanitizing solution is made up using 1 teaspoon of plain bleach to each Litre of water. Soak all parts that are in contact with food in this solution for 2 minutes after cleaning and rinsing, and then allow them to air dry prior to use.

*All cooler and freezer temperatures satisfactory.
*Food items kept off floor and separated from chemicals/pet food.
*Expiry dates OK on medicines available for sale.
*Hand sink in staff room stocked with warm water, liquid soap and paper towels. Two-compartment sink available.
*Note: remove the scoop (cup) from the sugar bucket under the microwave by tomorrow. Use only purpose-designed food scoops with handles that can be kept out of the food, or keep scoops outside of bulk food containers.
*Note: install a thermometer in the glass-door freezer by tomorrow (4th August 2016).
